Dog training in Hydes, Maryland
Hydes and the Long Green Valley give sporting dogs room to stretch their legs between training sessions.
Serving Hydes from Upperco
About 30 minutes east from 17110 Ridge Road, Upperco, MD 21155. Hydes clients train on-site at our facility, where we have acres of fenced space and a climate-controlled indoor gym, or in their own home when the behavior we are fixing lives there: door manners, counter surfing, crate work and neighborhood leash walks.
Board & train dogs from Hydes stay with us for two or four weeks, then we hand the skills back to you in private and group follow-up lessons. Weekly daycare members drop off between 6:00 and 9:30 AM and pick up between 4:00 and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Hydes questions
Do you serve Hydes?
Yes. Hydes and the Long Green Valley give sporting dogs room to stretch their legs between training sessions. We are about 30 minutes east from the Upperco facility, and Hydes dogs join daycare, group lessons, private work and board & train programs every week.
Can you come to my home in Hydes?
Yes, we come to Hydes homes. Hydes and the Long Green Valley give sporting dogs room to stretch their legs between training sessions. Because we are about 30 minutes east away, an in-home lesson in Hydes is easy to schedule, and a travel cost is added based on distance.
Which program should a Hydes owner start with?
Almost everyone starts with the one-hour, $75 Pre-Training Assessment. Puppies usually go into Puppy Head Start, dogs with no formal training into Learning the Basics, and owners who want the work done for them choose a two or four week board & train.
Who trains the dogs?
Lyndsey Morgan, an ABCDT certified trainer and Animal Behavior College graduate, works with every Hydes dog personally. Programs are balanced, relationship first, and built around what your family actually needs day to day.
