Rescue dogs in our care
Fifteen dogs currently live, train and decompress here in Upperco. Some are ready for the right home, and others are staying with us for good.
How adoption works here
Every dog is evaluated, worked with daily and matched carefully. We would rather wait for the right home than rush a placement. Tell us about your household, your other pets and your experience, and we will be honest about which dog fits and which does not.
- 1. Send an inquiry through the contact page or call the school.
- 2. We talk through your home, schedule and experience level.
- 3. Meet the dog here at the facility, with your current dogs if needed.
- 4. Take-home plan, training guidance and follow-up support.
Nonprofit in progress
The rescue side of Obedient BLUE is currently funded out of pocket. We are working through 501(c)(3) nonprofit status so donations, grants and volunteer support can help cover vetting, food and care for these dogs. If you would like to help in the meantime, reach out and we will point you to what is needed most.
